The 2017 dates for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party have been released.

  • August 25 and 29, 2017
  • September 1, 7, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26 and 29, 2017
  • October 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29 and 31, 2017
  • November 1, 2017

It looks like they’re starting earlier and earlier every year. Prices are cheaper the earlier in the season you go. There will most likely be discounts for AP, DVC, and military. If you qualify for the military discount then you will save a ton on the party. The military discounts usually only apply to the September dates, and now probably August, but not for the October and November times.

Dressing Up For The Pary

Back in 2015 you were allowed to bring plastic guns and knives and fake “weapons” into the parks. Now it is against Disney policy so please make sure whatever costume you decide to wear, it doesn’t involve anything that could be considered a weapon.

“When the crypt doors creak                        And the tombstones quake                    Spooks come out for a singing wake      Happy haunts materialize                              And begin to vocalize                        Grim grinning ghosts come out to          socialize”

Ensure to get your tickets early so you don’t miss the dates you want. These parties sell out the closer you get to Halloween. One benefit about the military tickets is you can get them even for a sold out event because those tickets have to be purchased at the ticket counter or Shades of Green. This applies to both discounted and non-discounted tickets. The days that are not discounted can still be purchased the day of even for a sold out event as long as you have your military ID.
